For those that don't know what that is, SKIM (SENTRY KEY IMMOBILIZER MODULE) is the security system of the vehicle. The SKIM is its own module, but the ECM looks for a pass or go message that occurs from the SKIM system which is why the industry standard seems to the ECM SKIM reset (Basically ECM security reset).

When we return your Module, the SKIM Module and/or Immobilizer MUST be disconnected from the vehicle prior to Module installation. Failure to disconnect the SKIM module will reactivate the security feature on the PCM. We will send information own skim disconnection.  Include order number with your computer and mail to our address below in the listing (vin and mileage required)
