Condition: Good. Bindings solid but worn; spine leather chipped with surface abrasions. Volume II has cloth tape reinforcement to the inner hinge and partial cracking to the back hinge. Light foxing to pages; text remains clean and legible with few pencil markings in the margins. Ownership inscription of Daniel T. Sullivan, San Francisco attorney (dated 1880).
