The 1968 10 seniti coin from Tonga features King Taufa'ahau Tupou IV and was produced at the Royal Mint in Llantrisant, Wales.


It is made of copper-nickel and has a diameter of 23.62mm and weighs 5.65g.


The coin's obverse depicts the King with the year "1968", while the reverse side shows "TONGA 10 SENITI" along with a design related to growing more food, "FAKALAHI ME'AKAI".

The coin is in excellent overall condition for its age and displays a prominent mint error.

The lettering on King Taufa'ahau’s name has been mis-struck and as a result is out of shape, misaligned and features wide and thin lettering.
