This unit works just as it should! I inserted 2 "AA" batteries (will not be included) and this powered up and played my music CD just fine.

I have not tested the cassette as my car doesn't have a cassette deck.

The battery compartment is clean!

The unit still has the original label on the top as shown.

The original headphones are included,  but the foam was so old it is no longer on the headphones as shown. Minor wear to the body of the player, such as a few marks here and there, but overall this looks great for it's age.
