OVERVIEW

Condition Information:

The item's condition is noted in the listing, and the item in the picture is the exact item you will receive. Please see below for the definitions I am using. Note that "SEALED" books may have breaks in shrink wrap - the term is to indicate that the book is still in manufacturer shrink wrap and has never been removed.

"Brand New" = similar to how you'd receive this book new from a comic store or book retailer. Keep in mind that even Brand New books still have minor defects including shelf wear, small indentations, small rips in shrink wrap, dust jacket crinkling, etc. Note that not all manufacturers shrink wrap their books.

"Like New" = essentially the same as Brand New books, but these may have large rips in shrink wrap, more severe dust jacket crinkling, a few extra dings, etc. Also, if I received a book with shrink wrap and removed it to inspect the book's interior, I'd consider it Like New rather than Brand New.

"Very Good" = books in this category either may be considered as "NICK AND DENT" with cosmetic damage or some other defect. Or, they may have been read and seen a full read-through in normal conditions (beyond just inspecting pages).

"Good" = I can think of only one or two books I've ever purchased like this, and it was a mistake. These books have more severe damage or have been heavily read. Anything lower than "Good" may be considered in rougher condition as will be visible in photos.

• ANY BOOK I SELL MAY HAVE DEFECTS NOT RECOGNIZABLE FROM PHOTOS AND DUE TO A MANUFACTURER ISSUE; I DO NOT OFFER RETURNS FOR SUCH DEFECTS; defects include but are not limited to missing/out-of-place pages, torn pages, strong smell (like from glue or book binding materials), broken binding, glue failures, pages stuck together, tendency to lean, misaligned or crinkled dust jackets, etc.

Acquisition and Storage

• I purchased 99%+ of items listed for sale New from large, online comic/book retailers; a very select few were purchased from reputable private sellers; if you need to know from where I acquired a particular book, please reach out
• While in my possession, books were stored in a smoke-free, climate-controlled environment away from sunlight
• Keep in mind that I purchased these books to keep as part of my personal collection, so I cared for them accordingly; I am selling them now due to changing life circumstances

Packaging and Shipping

• It is very important to me that your books get safely to you; all books will be packaged in sturdy cardboard boxes with plenty of padding material and a slip with your address in case the outer label gets torn
• The $30 shipping charge is to ensure lower-valued orders are packaged with the same care as higher-valued orders; all orders over $100 have free shipping - just make sure to combine all items to your cart when checking out
• Default shipping is USPS Ground Advantage with automatic insurance
• Signature confirmation may be included with your delivery for high dollar purchases, and I'll reach out to you beforehand to make sure that's okay, if so
• I ship only to the continental United States, so, if you are located internationally, please ensure you have an arrangement in place with eBay to forward the package from a US-based hub

Communication

• I pride myself on offering personal service and ensuring you are comfortable with your purchase. I am always open to questions before the order, and I may reach out after you've placed an order to update you on the shipment

Order Returns and Cancellations

• NO RETURNS FOR BUYER'S REMORSE, STORY QUALITY, BOOK BUILD/QUALITY, MANUFACTURER DEFECTS, SMELL (I.E. CHEMICAL DUE TO MANUFACTURING PROCESS), IMPERFECTIONS LIKE DENTS/DINGS, ETC. BOOKS SOLD AS-IS
• If you request to cancel the order, the order will be fully refunded if I haven't shipped yet; after I have given the package to USPS, I cannot cancel the item due to it being in USPS possession - please reach out ASAP if you wish to cancel the order
• Though I don't offer returns, I want to make sure you have a positive experience, so, if you have a problem, reach out and I'm sure we can come to a good resolution!

Issues with Order

• Sometimes, there are shipping delays out of my control (especially around holidays or big shopping times), but, if your item is declared lost by the shipping service, I will offer a full refund, as long as the address you provided is valid
• If your item is damaged in transit, please reach out - I will offer either a partial refund or a return/full refund using my shipping provider of choice; I will require photos of the damage to submit to the shipping service for the insurance claim; please reach out before submitting the request to return
• If other issues arise, please reach out, and I'll work with you to hopefully reach a good resolution
