- Is this really a shell?
- Humans have been fascinated by shells, which have mysterious colors and shapes in shells that are only a few centimeters long, since ancient times, and have used them in various forms such as currency and ornaments. A world-renowned photographer who has been photographing creatures in the natural world for over 30 years has rediscovered the beauty of these tiny shells, which are indistinguishable from jewels and art, and has captured them in over 300 color photographs. This is an unprecedented super-visual picture book that combines beautiful photographs using advanced macro techniques with the latest academic commentary.
