An heirloom, non-gmo, small basil with bright green leaves with pointed tips. Sweet lemony flavor with hints of citrus and savory notes and comes from tropical regions of Africa and South Asia. Cultivated in the US in the 18th century. Also referred to as Hairy basil due to its fuzzy stems.

 Great in puddings or baking Lime Basil pies. Often paired with grilled fish in Thai recipes. 

Rich in antioxidants and high content of citrus oil. A bold addition to a garden.
