This listing is for one stainless steel cremation pendant. The pendant has an empty chamber that is designed to hold the ashes of your beloved cat upon his or her passing. This listing is for the PENDANT ONLY, to be put on your own necklace or key ring. We have many other dog and cat-themed cremation pendants available in our store if you would like to check them out, too, to make sure you are selecting your favorite. We have this same pendant in our store with a silver cat, but this listing is for the black cat seen in the photos. The little stone that the cat is reaching for is a light pale blue that refracts light like a tiger's eye stone.

We do also sell all of our cremation pendants as necklaces on attractive, sturdy stainless steel chains, or on key rings (as seen in the photos), if you prefer having one already made for you. You can view these in our eBay store, or contact us for assistance. Again, this listing here is for the pendant only with NO CHAIN OR RING INCLUDED. The photos are just to show you how a finished product might look like.The pendant is about 40mm or 1 and 1/2 inches tall measuring from the circle cap on top to the bottom. The width is about 23mm (about 7/8 inch) at the widest point. The pendant does have some blank space on the back that can be engraved, although we do not offer this service ourselves. Most of your local jewelry stores will offer this service for a small fee. We offer a large variety of pendant urns to choose from, so feel free to browse around in our store to make sure you select your favorite. 

The pendant can be filled using a tiny funnel, or tweezers. We do include a funnel and a pin. First, unscrew the circle cap on the top of the pendant. Gently guide the ash into the chamber with the pin. With tweezers, just pinch a small amount of ash and then place it into the opening. Be sure to screw the cap back on tightly after filling, but be sure not to over-tighten. Then, the pendant can be worn next to your heart at all times. For a permanent seal, you can use a touch of metal to metal adhesive. Some people prefer they remain able to open to that ashes can be spread in meaningful places, and then refilled. Most people use a touch of superglue to make sure the ashes never spill out, especially if wearing regularly or using on a key ring. Note: This pendant is NOT hollow. There is just a tiny little chamber under the screw. Only a tiny amount of ash is needed. If you are searching for a pendant that holds a larger amount, this is not the right pendant for you. Please check in our store. Our pendants that say "Large Vial" in the title hold more.

Stainless steel is extremely durable and can be worn even during bathing. This includes the necklace chain, which will not rust, tarnish, or discolor no matter how many times you get it wet. Again, if you are going to be wearing it or using it as a key chain, be sure to seal it with a touch of superglue. Jostling can cause unsealed pendants to open unexpectedly and spill ashes. You can clean the pendant with rubbing alcohol and a soft cloth. It will not damage any part of the pendant.

The pendant will come sealed in a tiny plastic zip-loc bag, with a little card with information about RescueArtWorks!  A portion of the proceeds goes directly towards helping homeless animals find their way to new loving homes. It's a great way to honor your own pet's life.

Buyers will receive one pendant urn sealed in a little plastic zip-loc bag, which will be mailed in a small padded mailing envelope. Items are mailed through the United States Postal Service, using Ground Advantage shipping, and normally arrive within a week after purchase within the US, but this is NOT a guarantee!! Unfortunately, we cannot be responsible for delays caused by the USPS, and they do happen from time to time. International shipping takes longer, of course. Canadian orders take 1-2 weeks on average, but can take longer. Every now and again a package will get held up in customs, postal strikes, weather events, etc. We have no explanation for the variance, nor any control over it. If you are in the US and need it faster than a week, be sure to upgrade to USPS Priority (2-3 business days) or Priority Express (1-2 business days).
