Vintage brass paperweight shaped like an airplane flying over the globe. The base reads “Travel Air Mystery S - Worlds Record 1929.” Believed to be from the Thompson Trophy Race, a national air race. The Travel Air Mystery S is one of the airplanes that took part in this event.

It measures about 4.5 inches in diameter and 2 inches tall.

Good shape overall, with some surface wear as shown. If it ever had a propeller, it is missing.
