Antique c. 1893 Ludwig Wessel ‘Astra’ Floral Majolica Plate.   Although the 8” plate has no markings, it is easily identified by it’s distinctive floral pattern.  

Excellent condition-no chips or cracks; several minor scratches in glaze.  

There are several production flaws,consistent with Majolica produced during this period, which add to the charm of the plate.
