Vintage Jules Jürgensen Dial with Manual Wind Movement – 28mm x 4mm, Gold Markers, Sub-Seconds (Circa 1950s–1960s)
Step back into the golden era of Swiss watchmaking with this beautifully preserved Jules Jürgensen dial and manual wind movement, dating from the 1950s–1960s. Founded in 1740, Jules Jürgensen is one of the oldest and most revered names in traditional horology. This dial and movement combination is ideal for restoration, collecting, or custom builds requiring a genuine vintage Swiss heart.
Measuring 28mm in diameter and paired with the movement for a total thickness of just 4mm, this unit is perfect for slim dress watch projects. The dial features a soft silvered finish, lightly patinated with age. It has elegant applied gold-tone baton indices, a prominent gold “12,” and a sub-seconds register at 6 o'clock. Complementing the markers are dauphine-style gold hands, maintaining their original vintage charm.
Dial Text: “Jules Jürgensen Est. d. 1740” at 12, “Swiss” at 6
The movement is a finely constructed Swiss manual wind caliber, featuring 17 jewels, gold-plated finishing, and precision gear work. Visible engravings include:
“Unadjusted Swiss”
“Seventeen 17 Jewels”
Movement serial: 400321
