This is a spectacular exploration of the life and times of Galileo. In the 1500s, he mapped the skies and discovered that Earth and the other planets orbited around the sun. This was a revolutionary (and heretical) idea at that time. He suffered the wrath of the Catholic Church of the time, but his ideas triumphed in the end.
