The Humble Origins of Hammerschlagen - German Nail Game/  Target throwing log stump. 

Hammerschlagen, which literally translates to “hammer striking,” has roots that trace back to old German beer halls and taverns. It’s a traditional game that requires minimal equipment but delivers maximum fun.  Players take turns trying to hammer a nail into a stump of wood using a small hammer, aiming to be the first to drive their nail flush with the surface.

Our softwood log stumps are perfect for out door games and are very popular with the German nail game, Ideal for garden parties,  weddings and beer games such as German Oktoberfest.  Approx size 16" diameter x 7" thick (depending on size of tree and weight to post)
