Hr.Ms. Z5 was a Royal Netherlands Navy Z-class Torpedo boat. During the German attack on The Netherlands 10th May, Z5 was ordered to attack the German positions in Rotterdam, hitting multiple MG-nest and German Float planes with her two 75mm Guns and her two 12.7 mm Machine guns. She sailed to the UK 14th of May to avoid capture by the Germans. She served in the British Navy as HMS Z5 and was renamed to HMS Blade. She survived WW2, and was stricken on April 1945 and scrapped Dec 1945.
