This FilterCor Carbon Filter Cartridge is made of a porous polyethylene shell which contains a sulfur free, high grade highly activated coconut granular carbon. This filter cartridge allows for liquid to flow from the outside of the filter to the inside, which allows for the carbon's lattice structure to remove organic compounds. This cartridge has a  length of 30 inches and is rated at 3 microns.
