This yellow Matchbox King Size No. 5 Foden Dumper Truck is a really nice, chunky, diecast metal 1:74 scale model from the early 1960s. (This is the earlier version, with metal wheels / hubs. Later versions used plastic).

As can be seen from the photos, the model is in good condition, considering its 60+ year age. It might best be described as 'lightly play-worn', having a few scuffs, nicks and minor paint loss, mainly to the extremities, but its yellow paintwork and red 'Foden' markings still 'pop'.

The wheels, tyres and metal axles are all in good order, and turn as they should. The hinged dumper section moves up and down freely on its original hinge-pin.

In short, this is one of the nicest looking and best made early King Size Matchbox toys, displays very well and would make a striking addition to any collection.

It measures approximately 11 cm x 4.5 cm x 5 cm.
