The JJC LH-YN50F18II BLACK Lens Hood consists of an adapter ring (Ф58mm) and a petal-style lens hood. The lens hood is designed to prevent unwanted stray light from entering the lens by extending and shading the end. It has a non-glare matte finish inside to avoid further lens flare. It won't cause any vignetting when attached. Additionally, the hood can be reversed over the lens for more compact storage. It allows for using a Ф58mm filter and Ф58mm lens cap. The extended lens end also provides extra protection from accidental impact.
