Handmade round acacia wood pedestal stands are handmade in a small family shop. Each piece is unique with a variety of colors and grain patterns. Acacia is a unique exotic wood species that includes a wide range of trees primary from Australia. Acacia can be extremely dense and heavy or light. All acacia trees are known for their striking sharp demarcated colors between the layers of wood. Dark rich colors can give way to bright light colors.
Each handmade stand has unique wood grain and color made with medium density acacia that is solid without being overly heavy. The shelf is shaped into a 12-inch round that is one inch high. With feet added, the overall height is one and 3/4 inches. The shelf edge is beveled round for an added dimension and a soft feel. The surface is sanded smooth. The grain is raised and final sanded to provide a smoother finish that preserves the grain and feel from the normal changes when exposed to moisture and humidity. Finally, Rubio Monocoat Natural is added and buffed to a matte finish to highlight the colors.

We believe the natural color and grain of wood adds uniqueness to each piece and we do not use dyes or stains unless noted or requested. Edges are routed and the grain raised on each wood piece. These steps are commonly skipped and if not done right, you are not getting the grain you deserve. Items are expected to ship in 1-3 days with exceptions to unforeseen inventory and availability delays. Wood should never become overly wet, soaked in water or cleaned in a dishwasher. To clean wipe with a soft towel with mild soap and water. We raise the grain of each wood piece, so, if exposed to excessive moisture such as a kitchen spill, your piece should be fine if immediately wiped dry with a towel and allowed to air dry.
