Obverse:  Recumbent bull; Brahmi inscription "His Excellence Spalapati, the God"
Reverse:  Rider with a lance and flag
circa 750-900 AD.   good silver. 
"Spalapati Deva" coins are the earliest Shah bull & horseman coins, pre-dating the "Samanta Deva" bull and horseman coins.  Spalapati Deva coins are much scarcer than the Samanta Deva coins.
Bull & Horseman coins were initially of good silver, but soon declined in size and purity and were produced and imitated for centuries to come.
