The Haldex pump Pre-charges the oil within the AWD assembly, to allow the Haldex coupling to engage faster. If regular maintenance is not carried out or vehicles with high mileage this part is prone to failure. Also, the clutch pack is a common issue on these.

If your unit becomes faulty you may experience the following

* Loss of power to the rear wheels due to pump getting contaminated with old fluid and no longer activating.

* Random noises which aren't normally heard within this part of the vehicle.

*Warning Lights on the Dashboard / Error codes.

*Only Running on 2WD.
