Up for sale is a nice Orvis Impregnated "Battenkill" bamboo fly rod. This rod is 7’ long and it will cast 4-5wt fly lines. Overall, this rod is in great shape; however, the last two snake guides on each tip section will need to be replaced. They have oxidation on them and one of them is broken. Also, both tip-guides are a tad loose and have oxidation as well. The last thing I need to mention is the ferrule wrap on one of the tips has a small fray (see photo). Aside from those small setbacks, this rod looks lightly used. The ferrules fit tight and this rod has a great action. Comes with the tube and sock. All-in-all, with some light work, this rod will be ready to hit the water. Serial number “23746”. Comes with the tube and sock (the label is peeling).
