"The Abundant Life" is an extremely rare and valuable vintage hardcover book published in 1939 by The Ann Arbor Press. Authored by Arthur J. Wiltse, there were only 1000 original first edition books ever printed. Adding to this rarity is the fact that the book is both signed and inscribed by the author. This nonfiction book, focusing on social impacts and values, is in English and contains 103 pages. The book is a mini size with a dust jacket and is unabridged. This unique item weighs 5 oz and measures 4.25' in length, 6.25' in height, and 0.5' in width.
This is a highly sought after and rare antique hardcover book with its original dust jacket. Both the dust jacket and the actual hardcover have faded from exposure and use over the past 90 or so years. The dust jacket is in very rough condition with multiple rips and tears and is extremely yellowed. The dust jacket and hardcover do show water damage. As seen in pictures there is a curve to the book as a whole, guessing from the water damage noted previously. Opening to the Title page you can find a rather large cursive inscription and author's autograph written across the entire page. There is no further marking, writing, or highlighting found throughout the entirety of the book. This is a thread bound book and although there is no spinal separation there is some age staining on the pages where the thread appears or passes through. There are no missing, torn or ripped pages. Although the outer aspects of the book are in seriously rough condition there is little to know damage found on the interior.
