Some large items such as tools and furniture are stored in Baytown (a Houston suburb) in a climate-controlled storage facility, but most are at my Houston/Bellaire climate-controlled facility. Depending on where your item is, we can work out meeting up for a local pickup at the appropriate location. 

Most items are shipped within a day or two, provided the payment is fully processed by eBay which is typically immediate, but can take up to 48 hours after you pay depending on the service you pay with.  Most items are listed at 4 days handling to give me time to get everything out, however, I try to send items out as soon a payment is fully cleared. 

To keep shipping costs as low as possible, I typically use USPS but being cheap comes at a cost as they are slow to deliver and sloppy w the tracking. The postman picks up here Monday through Saturday but sometimes they dont scan the packages on pickup so we have no tracking until it arrives. And sometimes shipments take much longer than they should. I have seen some shipments taking as long as 20 days to arrive especially around the holidays. If you prefer to pay for expedited shipping to get your item sooner, please message me prior to buying the item and I will add an upgraded shipping option to the listing. Typically this will be Fed Ex or UPS. Note, I do add a $10 handling fee since this requires that I drive to FedEx or UPS to drop the package off. 

For large items that aren't practical to ship via USPS, UPS or FedEx, I recommend uShip. I have used them several times for everything from sofas to car hoods and it's reliable and reasonable. It works by pairing you with unused capacity. For example, a delivery driver who is coming back from delivering something across state lines will have an empty truck on the way home and uShip connects you with this extra capacity and helps you choose providers with delivery driver feedback and facilitates the transaction. However, this is a very tedious process and you have to weed through bids, answer questions, and coordinate pickup once you find a provider that will take the shipment, so I charge a $50 handling fee if we use uShip. If you create your own uShip account and and handle uShip yourself, there is no fee.
