x1 Diesel Living with Seletti Cosmic Diner Brass & Porcelain Lunar Coffee Service for 6 people
- complete set
- one saucer has some foxing that could do with some attention and buffing, the other 5 are pristine
- unique, coveted & desirous this will stand the test of time and prove equally current & well designed
- no hidden customs or charges to be paid or received unexpectedly if in the uk
- a single seller you’re dealing with rather than several packages from several suppliers, saving you stress, dealing with multiple persons & paying for the privilege of several weeks of waiting
This bundle has come about because as I was tweaking the items individual listings, the more I’ve become convinced they should/need/ought to be available as a whole. Seletti & Diesel never designed a milk jug for the Cosmic Range but I think that Tom Dixon’s Form milk jug marries up perfectly to create a near full service- it has a Sputnik feel to it and it’s curves compliment the other items and is reminiscent of the curves of a space crafts fuel tanks.
Please consult the individual listings for any information I may have omitted. Any questions please message. The only item I’ve not sought out is a coffee pot…I’ve a Matt gold pot which would be offset by the majority being polished brass but elements of pieces, such as the lower half of the sugar bowl, are Matt as well.
- Next working day dispatch x1 Special Delivery (worth £18.09+). I will find the best service to use that affords us best value for money as well as comprehensive cover.
- competitive price comparison with others who are either low in stock, out of stock or with long lead times
- polished brass & porcelain
- you will not be underwhelmed upon receipt of these packages
what can I say, the sugar bowl & coffee set is a piece of brass perfection that will take you into the stratosphere if you let them. More mundanely it is practical as well as aesthetically pleasing to add to the ever growing list of things you don’t need, but want.
Be prepared to indulge yourself & acquire quality items for fair prices. You won’t be disappointed. Also invest in a good microfibre cloth to keep them buffed, mirror shiny finish and pristine.
A real focal & talking point post dinner and possesses an almost communal/ritualistic aspect to its character. The porcelain black lunar cups themselves are removable & I’ve also advertised them as shot glasses with previous listings. They’re very tactile and the rendering of the lunar surface is particularly well realised on such a small object. They also each come with their own individual heavily weighted brass stirrer- it’s the little details that shine out with the quality of it. The pictures hopefully do them justice.
The coffee sets represent comparatively perhaps the largest investment of the collection. With this collection I believe you need to think of it as individual accent pieces in their own right, but which in turn are also a cohesive whole for special occasions and/or perfectly suitable for everyday use. For example the sugar bowl from the same range can be read in isolation, but i think when brought together with the cosmic coffee cups they really come alive. I hope you’ll consider them as a set and I am happy to make a custom bundle should you want to, just drop me a message.
Of course there is the option of acquiring the pieces as part of the larger Cosmic Diner range that I have available as a service for 5 people. It would represent a large investment and I’m
Completely biased, but i think being able to serve coffee as the finale of a wonderful meal using the service would certainly leave all concerned feeling well satisfied with the quality & uniqueness of your crockery.
I stumbled upon Seletti’s gold percolator recently & I think it more than appropriate to include with this bundle:
“LIMITED GOLD EDITION.
Alessandro Zambelli in collaboration with Studio Selab creates ESTETICO QUOTIDIANO collection, exclusively for Seletti. This collection transforms daily disposable objects in their ceramic and glass version, making it long lasting and fun.”
Courier would be Royal Mail Special Delivery, fully insured, tracked & dispatched the next working day after payment with an express service and concluded before 23:00. With such a service it’s the insurance that increases the cost of postage so I may have to send as two packages, or one, but rest assured I shall be transparent with all the postage and refund any monies owing- if you have a preferred courier let me know.
For orders from abroad i will only use eBay’s Global Shipping Programme as it affords both the buyer and seller comprehensive cover for if the worst were to happen, that being loss or breakages in transit and I’ve had both happen in the past. So long as eBay’s procedures were adhered to by each party all went well, money paid out/refunded and nobody was left out of pocket. Thank you if you’ve read this far.
