One central pocket with gold metal zipper surronded on either side with 2 open side pockets all lined with durable nylon fabric in black and white pattern.  Interior zip pocket has two furter interior patch pockets and one zip pocket rimmed with black leather.  

The removable leather stap is 3/4" wide and well made.  The leather is thick, stitched all the way around and has both a restraining piece for the belt and for the tail end.  The gold hardware rotates in place.

Though the leather is pebbled (evenly and beautifully so) the piece is lined with fabric so it is not overly weight and will not hurt your backl unless you over pack with too much.  There is ample room to do so, with three generous compartments and additional pockets in the zippered middle.  Overally, you cannot go wrong with this as an everyday carry, work tote, baby bag, travel bag or day to evening bag.  its versatile, attractive and classic and can fit every season.
