Security has top priority
The integrated components (6-MA DC error power detector) offer additional protection for the vehicle, house installation and the wall box during the loading. Furthermore, the Mercedes-Benz Wallbox can be unlocked or locked via the app or RFID card to protect against unauthorized use. ****
Over-the-air updates
The Mercedes-Benz Wallbox has the technical ability "Over-the-air" software updates to get the customer's own WLAN or LAN. For example, you can get new functions for integrating the Wallbox into an energy management system in the future. To get the over-the-air updates, you need the Mercedes Me app. In this you have to agree to the respective update or you can set the automatic installation of updates in the Mercedes Me app. ***
installation
With our Mercedes-Benz Wallbox Pre-Check, check how well you are equipped for charging at home. If you are interested in a professional wall box installation, please contact our installation partner in the respective country. The installation is not included in the purchase price, but you will receive a cost overview for installation from our installation partner, which will also be happy to check on site whether a wall box can be installed at your home. An internet connection via LAN or WLAN is required for installation. Further information will be obtained after buying the Wallbox or via your local Mercedes-Benz dealer.
Please note: An assembly of the Mercedes-Benz Wallbox must only be carried out by people with appropriate specialist training and is not intended for assembly by the end user. Please also note the local regulations and provisions.
compatibility
The Mercedes-Benz Wallbox Socket was with Allen current onesMercedes-Benz Models checked for compatibility and function. The Wallbox was developed according to the official IEC 61851-1 standard and can therefore also be used with other vehicles that adhere to this standard. The Mercedes-Benz Wallbox Socket can be used with Allen common approved type 2, fashion 3 charging cables. If you want to use your Wallbox with the Mercedes-Benz charging cable, you can find it under the article number A0005832098.

* 22 kW load can require a corresponding special equipment "AC-LADESTRONG 22 KW)" depending on the manufacturer and vehicle. If this is not the case, the vehicle is automatically loaded by the wall box with the optimal charging capacity. The maximum charging power of the charging station must be adapted to the upstream installation (cable cross -section and protection).

Under this offer you will receive data volume for up to 8 years, but at the latest until December 31, 2033. The offer applies from the activation of the card during installation and can therefore be less than 8 years. The introduction and installation of the SIM card must only be carried out by people with the appropriate specialist training (for example by your electronics technician) and is not intended for assembly by the end consumer. Our installation partners will advise you to obtain the requirements of the SIM card and the possibilities.
