This is a king size quilt which is 96" by 96" which means that on a standard king size bed which is 78" by 78" you have 18" of overage left to right (9" on the left and 9" on the right). Then you have 18" of overage on the top and the bottom (9" on the top and 9" on the bottom).  

You can see the pattern that was chosen by the long arm quilter in the photos which in this case is meandering bubbles.
