It is a very clear lens that is visually transparent.
No scratches, fungus, haze, or balsam separation on internal elements.
Even when looking through the lens under strong light, you can only see a tiny
speck of dust on the lens.

The exterior of the lens shows minor scuffs and barely
noticeable paint chipping from use, but there are no major scratches, dents, or
chips.
Filter threads show no signs of wear.
Rubber grips are clean with little wear or fading.
Mounting flanges are clean with little wear or dirt.

Focusing is light and buttery smooth.
