This was an estate sale find where the owners had many unique religious items like this one. I am guessing that this was made from plaster and painted lightly. You’ll see the bottom has a couple spots where it is white as plaster would be. It does seem pretty solid And dense, but it is not metal. I was tempted to say this could be Martin Luther, but it really doesn’t look like him. Definitely a monk, I would say.
