I opened the  box and tried this heat gun once and it is too hot for what I want to use it for which is for shrink-wrapping books.  It does work for that but it is so hot it can melt the shrink-wrap and burn my finger. The box has one tear on the inside otherwise is like new and has all the attachments and the manual in place
