We presume this was taken in National City, Illinois, a town with a long and seedy affair with the meat packing industry. Was annexed by Fairmont City in 1999.

The photo likely captures a group of employees or workers from the company, providing a historical glimpse into the past. 

The inscription on the back as best as I can decipher:
