Beautifully restored ivory colored Kerns standard large size clock. Includes glass dome, winding key, leveling wedges, custom two-way level, and basic instructions. The clock measures 7 3/4'' w x 11 1/2'' h and was restored in 2024. Restoration consists of complete dismantle, parts cleaned, polished, coated with clear lacquer, new paint, reassembled with some new parts, lubricated, and adjusted for long running. This clock also has a painted base, painted columns and a museum quality wax on painted parts. Base has evidence of welded cracks (3) seen in second to last photo. I've own 3 of these and all had cracks in the bases. Last photo is of parts prior to polishing. I might add that these columns are my favorite design. This is a spring wound clock capable of running an entire year and can be fairly accurate for three months at a time when adjusted properly.

 NEW PARTS

1. Main spring

2. Suspension spring

3. Custom two-way bubble level

Most 400 day clocks for sale on here are at least 70 years old and in need of a teardown cleaning and or repair. The old contaminated lubricant  needs to be removed to prevent gear train damage. The main spring needs to be removed from the barrel, inspected cleaned or replaced and lubricated. Few clock repair shops will work on these clocks. A restored clock will be a beautiful, pleasant, and affordable addition to your home.

This is a clock is from my private collection and my wife said something had to go so I'm having a red tag sale, item # 126
