Unlike those tinny, scratchy "Wasp-in-a-Jar" battery amps, the Crazy Jack amplifier has been developed over the last 3 years to deliver a lovely clean tone. Crazy Jack himself plays mainly ragtime, blues, country (and Western) with a little bit of Jazz but this amp is suitable for ANY type of music!

Winding the amplifier up to full volume will produce a warm distortion when the guitar volume is full up but we think you'll find plenty of great tones just below this threshold.

This is the very same amplifier circuit that has been built into DOZENS of Crazy Jack Palletwood and Cigar Box Amplifiers over the last three years and supplied to customers all over the UK (and a couple in Germany).
