The pendant, I presume to be jade, is unusual. The chain runs through the 'stopper' part,and also through the receiving part. There is a character/face on the stopper. The receiver is reticulated as seen, with foreign marking/writing etched on outside. 

I cannot find this, or even a similar piece, anywhere. Thinking it may have other connotations than jewelry. Any help is certainly appreciated. Unique!
