Two years ago, I began collecting tickets from the 50 Greatest Upsets in College Football history. I used the list from PSA which comprises of games from 1921 to 2011. There is high probability that there have been upsets in CFB since 2011. At some point, the list may need to be amended. In two years' time, I have collected 40 out of the 50, but also some extras, which I will offer on eBay. I am happy to answer questions about the tickets and collecting all 50. I have already encountered many of the remaining 10 tickets that are difficult to obtain, extremely expensive, or non-existent. PSA does have a pop report on some of the tickets which have been submitted for grading. But others have no pop report as of 2025.
Up for sale is a tickets from the September 3, 2005 regular season game between the Horned Frogs of Texas Christian University and the Oklahoma Sooners of Norman, Oklahoma. It was played at Oklahoma Memorial Stadium on Owen Field. Today, the stadium is known as the Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium. This game was the first game and home opener for Oklahoma of 2005. But, they lost the game 10-17 to TCU.
The ticket appears to be a full ticket to me. The A ticket is VG-Ex. The C ticket has multiple waves and some creases. I would grade it G-VG. See photos.
Ticket shipped in a semi rigid ticket holder. Economy shipping includes thin cardboard in a standard envelope. Returns accepted if original item returned in original condition. May be able to combine shipping on multiple purchases totaling under $20.
