This is an original press photo. Eduardo Mata, Conductor. At least one symphonic program has been fully decided upon for the 1984 Louisiana World Exposition. It is the concert to be played several times by the World Orchestra during its New Orleans residence. The Orchestra will consist of 135 young musicians from 22 countries selected in national auditions for the annual event. Each year the ensemble is conducted by a celebrity guest conductor, this year's guest being Eduardo Mata, music director of the Dallas Symphony.Photo measures 8 x 10.25inches.
