Book content from the Kindle Store supports the handwritten sticky note feature. Use the Standard Pen to write on your favorite books. The written sticky notes are automatically saved and can be viewed and reread for each book or exported via e-mail (some Kindle books, such as comics, magazines, and some practical books, do not support the handwritten input function).
Read documents on your Kindle and take notes digitally; document files can be imported to the device from the Kindle app or from your computer desktop. You can also send documents from Microsoft Word directly to your Kindle (Microsoft Word requires a separate Microsoft 365 subscription). PDF files can be viewed, notes can be written, and appendices can be added to Microsoft Word documents. Imported documents can be exported via email.
Four different pen styles make it easy to create notes, journals, and sketches. Use the lasso tool to move, cut, paste, zoom in and out around handwritten notes. Handwritten notes can be converted to text and sent via email.
New features are added to Kindle Scribe from time to time through free software updates.
