The Watch: This is an exceptional find that went into my personal collection for some time: A large model, automatic Tank Divan in 18k white gold with a rare dial design featuring raised appliqué indices at 3 and 9.

It is the rare to find a men’s automatic Tank Divan produced in white gold. Almost all  were produced in yellow gold or stainless steel. And this dial can't seem be found on any of them, except for this example. I have seen one other like it from a Japanese dealer, who describes it as being sold only at the Cartier Paris Head Office.

It is on its original Cartier black alligator strap that was supplied with the watch when new, with original white gold buckle.

Worn only on a few special occasions, this watch has been well taken care of and inspected by Cartier regularly.
