The author Yang Dingguo is one of its top teachers, and is the current president of Baquan Branch of the Hunan Martial Arts Association. His teachers were Wang Runsheng and Liu Tiyi. There are two branches of the art: one emphasizing offensive technique and the other relying on tactics from Taoist philosophy.
