This beautiful L. C. Tiffany lidded favrile powder puff “ Fancy Good”is a stunning addition to any collection. The round shape and bronze collar around the perimeter of the bowl ( see third photo),make it an elegant piece that is nevertheless intended for regular use while retaining its eye catching proportions. The hardiness of this piece and its hand-blown glass production technique add to the vessel's unique charm.

This original piece, manufactured in 1914-1915 is a perfect combination of beauty and functionality. The date is derived from the M suffix appearing on the signed underside of the top which reads 6440 M L.C. Tiffany Inc. Favrile. The bronze ring around the vessel’s perimeter adds to her durability and makes it a great choice for everyday use typical of Tiffany’s focus on quality.This L. C. Tiffany powder puff Fancy Good” is a rare survivor of this era of powder puffs. That era being now over for decades, she survived the garbage likely only because someone saw the craftsmanship and spied the signature.
