Description:

Special Monochrome PAL/NTSC 1V Composite video version of the Official RGBtoHDMI CPLD board.

'Profiles' are included in the firmware for: Apple II, ZX80, ZX81, UK101, Ohio Superboard, Nascom 1 & 2, Microtan 65 and lumacode.

Other systems would require the user to create a new Profile. See wiki for details

Included: RGBtoHDMI CPLD board (Monochrome PAL/NTSC version), Pi Zero, microSD Card, phono cable, and case. You will need to add a microUSB power supply which plugs into the right-hand microUSB socket.

Output is in monochrome. Some of the above will output colour if a Lumacode board from copperdragon is fitted into the computer, they are:Commodore 64 / 128, Atari 800, Atari 2600, VIC20, 48K Spectrum, NES, Ti 99/4a (plus other computers using the same TMS99xx video chip). Some systems (eg. ZX80/ZX81) may require modification to output a composite video signal.

n.b. LUMACODE requires copperdragons Lumacode board fitting inside your computer, it is NOT included. The  Lumacode board is only available direct from copperdragon.

The supplied CPLD Board has a number of enhancements by Ian Bradbury to the open source version, including protection and soft reset removing the need to fit the reset connector on the Pi.

NB. Output from the PiZero is on miniHDMI. We sell short adaptors for mini HDMI Male to full size HDMI Female, and mini HDMI Male to full size HDMI Male cables.
