After significant consumer demand for a glove that features the same outstanding warmth that the Heatrub Ultimate Baselayer delivers, but combined with best-in-class waterproofing, we are proud to unveil the new Heatrub Ultimate Waterproof Convertible Mittens.

While highly suitable for a variety of activities, designers specifically paid special attention to the needs of anglers and hikers when it came to creation of the Convertible Mittens.

The 2-in-1 mitten and half-finger glove design offers protection against the rain and cold, but the snap-back nature of the product means the protective overmitt can be quickly fastened back to allow full finger functionality. The gloves utilise the same Heat Thread Technology that features in the multi-award-winning Heatrub Ultimate Baselayer, but also benefit from an innovative outer shell membrane that delivers a waterproof rating of 10,000mm. 

This means the gloves can withstand an astonishing 10,000mm of rainfall in a single day without moisture penetrating through the surface, outlasting the heaviest downpours, as well as snow storms. For reference, material that is labelled as waterproof must be able to expel 5,000mm/24h.

The palm of the Convertible Mitten features Digital Goat Skin Nano Pods which securely grips rods, keep nets or hiking poles, and the gloves also utilise finger loops for ease of removal.

The highly waterproof nature of the gloves, combined with the same inner material as the Ultimate Baselayer - independently tested and proven to be five times warmer than a standard baselayer in temperatures as low as -10° Celsius - make these products a must-have for fishing and hiking this autumn and winter.

Product contains 7% wool so as with any wool product there will be a minimal amount of pilling (bobbling). This can be reduced by washing the product inside out and using an anti-pilling detergent.
