I would suggest battery operated tea lights as these are wooden and would worry about fire hazards. They look handmade out of wood. They both have a split which just means old dead seasoned wood. Natural state no finish. Nothing fancy very primitive Rustic. Battery operated fake candles please..tea light size. Wouldn't want to catch your house on fire.
