Absolutely beautiful pair of two snuff bottles. They are reverse painted, painted on the inside. One has a bird of paradise on one side and a bluebird on the other. The other bottle has bluebird on one side and a waxwing on the other. Each is about 3 inches tall. The lid of one is made of light green jade, the other is a light brown stone, likely onyx. The snuff spoons are stuck into the cork, each is made of delicately carved bone. The bottle with the waxwing on it has a chip on the bottle neck, pictured.
