This kufiya comes from the last remaining factory in Palestine, located in Hebron. Since 1961, every piece has been woven in the traditional way. Out of fifteen original weaving machines, only four are still running today – keeping a fragile but powerful heritage alive.
To survive, the factory now also creates kufiyas in different colors and designs.

Diese Kufiya stammt aus der letzten verbliebenen Fabrik in Palästina, in Hebron. Seit 1961 werden dort die Tücher noch auf traditionelle Weise gewebt. Von ehemals fünfzehn Maschinen sind heute nur noch vier in Betrieb – ein lebendiges Symbol für Widerstand und Durchhaltevermögen.
Um weiterbestehen zu können, fertigt die Fabrik inzwischen Kufiyas in verschiedenen Farben und Designs.

Esta kufiya proviene de la última fábrica que queda en Palestina, en Hebrón. Desde 1961, cada pañuelo se teje de manera tradicional. De quince máquinas originales, hoy solo cuatro siguen funcionando, manteniendo viva una herencia frágil pero poderosa.
