This listing is for a Peavey Deuce VT 240T guitar amplifier, built some time in the late 70s/early 80s.
Bought second-hand a few years back and used as a pedal platform (which this amp excels at) and only now selling to make some space.
Features two, switchable channels, a solid state preamp and a 4 x 6L6 valve power amp rated at 120 watts, so this amp has massive amounts of headroom, making it a great pedal platform that will stay clean right up to wall shaking volumes.
It also has a Phaser built in to the “Effects” channel, that is one of the most beautiful I’ve ever heard, easily outdoing any Phaser pedal.
The amp comes with its original 12 inch Scorpion speakers and original footswitch, all still in great working condition.
Sadly, a previous owner took out the spring reverb tank and cabling, so the reverb is non-functioning. However, I will supply an Accutronics tank that I have spare, should you ever wish to set about reinstalling/repairing the reverb function.
Some of the pots are a little scratchy, but this is to be expected in an amp of this age.
Sensible offers are more than welcome.
No shipping available, as the amp is very heavy, but I’m happy to arrange a convenient meeting place for pickup.
Thanks for viewing!
