Fumare was the first ever peated distillery bottling from Speyside Distillers, produced from peated barley which the distillery only used for a small amount of time each year. 100% matured in bourbon barrels, non chill-filtered and with no added colouring.

Colour: Deep amber with coppery sheen and warm golden highlights.

Nose: Peated barley pours a coastal, smoke-laden aroma: dark peat, char and iodine lifted by creamy vanilla and toffee from bourbon casks. Spiced oak, hints of orange zest and pear, with a subtle sea breeze.

Palate: Powerful yet refined, the palate opens with dusky peat and sweet vanilla from the bourbon cask, joined by toffee and almond notes. Rich honeyed depth, cocoa, and a hint of citrus zest drift through the smoke. Full-bodied and mouth-coating, with peppery spice and a touch of sea salt, finishing long with ember-like smoke and warm oak.

Finish: Long, peaty finish powered by bourbon vanilla, caramel and toasted oak. The smoke lingers with refined elegance, while peppery spice fans out as warmth fades. A citrus brightness cuts through, then the peat eases to a final, lingering ember of barley sweetness.
