A legend of the sci-fi genre, Children of Dune is the final instalment in the original Dune
trilogy and, wow, does it deliver. Exploring ecological experimentation
and the complexities of power, it further expands the Duneiverse,
enthralling and horrifying the reader in all the best ways.
Series
artist Hilary Clarcq returns with her intricate illustrations, which
not only capture Herbert’s characters but also her own love for the
world he has created. This is the third jewel in the crown of Folio’s
groundbreaking Dune series, a stunning edition that will sit perfectly alongside the previous instalments in the trilogy.
The third novel in Frank Herbert's epic Dune series, continues
the saga of the desert planet Arrakis. The story follows the twin
children of Paul Atreides, Leto II and Ghanima, who must navigate the
treacherous political landscape left in the wake of their father's
mysterious disappearance. As the heirs to immense power and the
potential for great transformation, the twins face threats from both
within their family and from external forces seeking to control Arrakis
and its precious spice, melange. With the desert planet teetering on the
brink of ecological and social upheaval, Leto and Ghanima must embrace
their unique destinies to shape the future of their world and humanity
itself.
