Newcomer Christopher Atkins stars opposite Brooke Shields in Columbia Pictures' "The Blue Lagoon," the story of two teenagers shipwrecked on a beautiful island in the South Pacific who discover themselves and the splendor of natural love. "The Blue Lagoon" was produced and directed by Randal Kleiser from the screenplay by Douglas Day Stewart, based on the novel by Henry DeVere Stacpoole. Richard Franklin co-produced and Oscar winner Nestor Almendros was the director of photography. Photo measures 10.25 x 8 inches. Photo is dated 8-14-1980.
