This lovely vintage jewelry set includes a necklace with pendant and coordinating pierced earrings. The pendant can be removed from the chain and be worn as a brooch pin. The rope chain is 28" long.

The set was created in a rich textured gold tone metal that has an old gold patina. The ruffled design has a mid-century modern feel and reminds me of sparkling chrysanthemums.  Nestled among the gold ruffles of the pendant are cognac colored rhinestones. The earrings have the same metal design, but they are accented by golden, cognac, and champaign rhinestones. This variety gives a brighter, lighter glow near the face.

Earrings posts are near the top of the earring so that they are more comfortable and hang slightly below the lobe.

The maker of this set "JANUS" jewelry is known for making high quality rhinestone jewelry. Little is known about the company as they are no longer in business. Their designs suggest they were most likely created between 1950 and 1980. It is believed the company was located in Canada, but I have been unable to confirm this.

No missing stones. All stones sparkle. This is a vintage set and has been worn. It has tarnish and wear consistent with age and use. The pin of the brooch has been replaced. Notice in the photos that the pin is silver tone. See photos for condition details.
